Over the last three years, we have given away over backpacks to students in our economically depressed area of Los Angeles. This was accomplished through the donations of time, supplies and money from our church and community partners. This Year’s generous community partner; the Zeta Rho Foundation of Omega Psi Phi fraternity was a great help in meeting our goal to help the youth get started in going back to school.
We know the need for help in our community is great, but our desire to help is greater. We also know that if we provide the help to our children now, they will grow to help others in the future. There can be a time that the need for charity like this can be a thing of the past, but not yet.
